The Meet Mount Rogers Internship Experience is a five-week summer program designed to support internship opportunities in the counties of Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, and Wythe along with the city of Galax. The program is one day each week beginning June 8, 2023. Interns will participate in both a professional development training and an activity in the region. The goal of the program is to enhance the student’s work-based internship by providing the opportunity to experience life in the region, network with other young professionals and to grow professionally. This optimizes the internship investment for employers while increasing the probability of retaining talent.
