BOSS Lumber and RPM Will Receive Training and Assistance Toward International Growth
August 20th, 2026
Mount Rogers Regional Partnership congratulates the companies selected to participate in the 2026 cohort of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program! We are particularly excited to highlight two companies within our region, BOSS Lumber, located in Galax, and Real Performance Machinery (RPM) of Independence in Grayson County. These companies will spend two years in the program, which will help them build the foundation from which to enter the international export market.
The VALET program includes a customized sales plan, educational components, market research, meetings with prospects, and other hands-on services. According to the Governor of Virginia’s press release, the program results in “an average increase of 78 percent in international sales for participating companies.” MRRP looks forward to the future growth of BOSS Lumber and RPM!
