Governor Glenn Youngkin Announces Hitachi Energy Expands Footprint in Southwest Virginia

Energy Infrastructure Company Will Invest $22.5 Million and Create 120 New Jobs

Mount Rogers Regional Partnership congratulates Hitachi Bland on their exciting expansion news! Hitachi’s facility in Bland, Virginia is growing to meet increased demand for transformers to power data centers, and they have added a warehouse facility in Atkins, Virginia as well. Total investment is $22.5 million, and the expansion will result in 120 new jobs for the region.
